We are seeking an experienced Finance Coordinator to join our team. The Finance Coordinator role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in commercial lending within the real estate and construction industry. With a competitive salary range reflecting the responsibilities and skills required for the position, including oversight over various aspects of the construction draw process. The Finance Coordinator will primarily focus on providing support for the construction draw process as well as other ad hoc financially related administrative tasks. The Finance Coordinator role will also involve managing documentation and coordinating communication among various departments to facilitate a smooth draw process with our various lenders. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and financial stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
• Administrative Support
o Provide administrative support for financial activities, including tracking loan funding and corresponding with lenders and other departments internally.
• Construction Draw Process Management:
o Assist in various aspects of the construction draw process, including collecting and organizing information, and processing draw requests from lenders.
• Documentation Management:
o Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including but not limited to: construction
draw submissions, construction contracts, and project budgets.
• Vendor and Supplier Coordination:
o Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely submission of draw requests and supporting documentation, resolving any administrative issues that may arise.
• Communication:
o Facilitate communication between project teams, financial stakeholders, and vendors regarding draw submissions, status updates, and administrative matters.
• Budget Tracking:
o Assist project managers in tracking project budgets and expenses by maintaining accurate records and providing support for budget monitoring activities.
• Compliance Assistance:
o Support compliance efforts by ensuring documentation and administrative processes adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Issue Resolution:
o Address discrepancies or issues promptly and effectively, collaborating with project teams to find solutions.
• Deadline Management:
o Manage deadlines and draw submission timelines to ensure timely processing of draws.
• Reporting:
o Prepare regular reports and summaries, providing updates to the Finance Manager.

Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• Previous administrative experience, preferably in a construction or finance-related setting, is not required, but can be substituted for Bachelor's degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Schedule:
• Monday-Friday, standard daytime hours; 8 am - 5 pm. Occasional weekend work may be required.
Job Type:
• Full-time position, averaging 40 hours per week.
Compensation:
• $60,000-$65,000

Ability to Commute/Relocate:
• Charlotte, NC: Ability to reliably commute or willingness to relocate before starting work (Required).

Reports to: • Finance Manager
Work Environment:
• Office-based environment with a business casual dress code. Standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines, are used in this role.
Physical Demands:
• The role requires the ability to talk and hear, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Occasional lifting of office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds, may be necessary. Some travel might be required.
