About the Finance Department: Finance is the guardian of Bridgewater's financial resources. About the Role: As Finance Associate, Accounting Policy and Reporting, you will be a member of Bridgewater's Corporate Accounting team responsible for the various responsibilities outlined below. Partner with the Director, Accounting Policy and Reporting, to produce timely and reliable financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, statutory/regulatory and management reporting requirementsContinuously think of improving operational processes so that they achieve the intended outcomes more effectively and efficientlyExecute on critical judgement-based activities and processesSupport the Corporate Accounting team with technical accounting researchSupport various aspects of the financial audit, which will involve direct interaction with the external auditors as well as with other areas within the Bridgewater organizationSupport ad hoc requests as necessaryYou will be a click for the role if you:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, with a strong academic track recordCPA with 3-5 years of experience, highly preferred is experience at a Big 4 accounting firmProficient technical accounting writing skillsAdvanced Excel skillsPhysical Requirements For most of our roles, Bridgewater offers remote work flexibility, with most employees required to work on campus as their principal work location, a minimum of two days (and in some cases three days) per week with the option to work offsite on other days.
Compensation The wage range for this role is $120,000 - $165,000 inclusive of base salary and discretionary target bonus. The expected base salary for this role is between 80% - 90% of this wage range.
