This includes, but is not limited to: Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Cave Creek, Carefree, and Ahwatukee.Description:The Caregiver/CNA is responsible for providing high quality, safe and supportive care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. In addition, the Caregiver/CNA will assist the patients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), and other necessary task that are essential to their every day living.Job Duties and Responsibilities:• Personal Care- Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, showering, and dressing.• Mobility- Assist with ambulation, physical therapy exercise and walking inside and outside the home.• Meals- Assist with the planning and preparation of meals• Housekeeping- perform light housekeeping duties where needed (dishes, bedding, laundry, dust, sweep, mop, etc.).• Reminders- Remind clients to take prescription medications and of scheduled appointments.• Errands- Complete shopping task or accompany patients while they shop.• Transportation- Provide safe and reliable transportation to appointments, shopping, pharmacy, and other errands as needed.Education, Certification, License:• High School diploma or GED equivalency.• CPR/First Aid (will provide if needed).• DCW Training (will provide if needed).• Fingerprint Clearance (will assist in obtaining).• Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment.• Hoyer Lift Experience (client specific requirement).• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
