Job SummaryThis position provides high-level administrative support to the Vice Provost for Academic Planning and provides support for programs reporting to the Vice Provost.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-level administrative support for Vice Provost - Serve as the primary contact for the Vice Provost in managing the effectiveness and efficiency of the office. Proofread, prepare, and send out correspondences initiated by Vice Provost. Accurately and effectively disseminate information through email and letters.Provide Support for Programs Reporting to Vice Provost Office - Independently manage the calendar, set up appointments, and balance priorities. Organize and support meetings as needed by taking meeting notes, coordinating events and action items. Provide support for the following programs reporting to VP.Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesGood communication and strong people skills. Demonstrated sound judgment in balancing priorities in completing daily tasks. The individual must be able to handle more than one assignment at a time and interact positively and professionally with faculty, staff, students, and others. This position requires a self-starter, who will take the initiative to pitch in and help others when necessary, and who takes the initiative to suggest improvements to the operations of the Vice Provost.
