As our team expands, we are looking for people to join us who are committed to making a difference in our communities. We are seeking an energetic Events & Catering Assistant to grow awareness and sales of Sundae Artisan Ice Cream in our respective communities. You will generate excitement around Sundae by providing exceptional service on the go while leaving them with a strong sense of connection. This is a part time position, working up to 20 hours a week and you may work evenings and weekends. You will report to the Marketing and Events Manager.

Represent and promote Sundae through serving ice cream and sharing product and brand knowledge at community, private, and internal events Timely and efficiently execute events with a team or alone, including packing vehicle, setting up on-site, serving, breakdown on site, cleaning, and unpacking vehicle. Meet or exceed all Sundae Event Standards at every event, including creating positive customer interactions, scooping accurate portions, and maintaining cleanliness and health department requirements Maintain responsible cash and credit card payment handling and perform cash out procedures accurately Safely drive company vehicle to events and Sundae locations throughout the district which is currently defined from Vail, CO to Aspen, CO Have a keen awareness for the safety and care of company resources with a goal of preventing loss, damage, or liability Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 18 years of age or older Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record 2+ years of customer service experience required 1+ year of food service or catering experience required Must have flexible work availability, including weekends and evenings Must enjoy connecting with new people ROLE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Move, traverse or remain in a stationary position for up to 12 hours Occasionally use manual (e.g., scooping ice cream) and automatic food service equipment Occasionally move up to 50 pounds for a distance of 25 feet or more Occasionally ascend/descend ladder to clean or lift items stored above Occasionally position self to clean, maintain equipment, and retrieve items below counter height Willing and able to work in various weather conditions and to safely drive in unpredictable weather and traffic situations Safely operate a delivery van, liftgate, and handcarts Occasionally ascend/descend steps and ramps to access supplies and inventory at various locations and in vehicles Benefits Hourly compensation: $25.00 per hour Part-time hourly positions available Part-time employee benefits: Sick Pay Free shift treats and employee discounts Individualized mentorship and growth opportunities
