Our client, is a local Commercial Plumbing Contractor with a great reputation, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. The priority of the Commercial Plumbing Estimator is to manage all commercial project bid jobs. The duties include all the necessary steps to accomplish a quality installation/design at the time agreed upon and at a cost equal to or less than estimated. The Estimator is responsible for developing pricing and presenting bids to clients. This includes estimating the cost of a job, determining labor rates, estimating materials and supplies needed for the job, and developing a bid package. The Estimator also must maintain relationships with vendors and coordinate with plumbers to ensure that bids are competitive.
Qualifications
-Minimum 4 years plumbing estimator experience with a working knowledge of plumbing pipe, fittings, and basic commercial plumbing construction & project management standards
-Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
-Excellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity and standards of work produced
-Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to multitask
-Works well under pressure
-Understands department financial statements
-Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
-Intermediate or advanced computer skills
-Valid driver's license and good driving record
