Position Details – Escrow Assistant
The Escrow Assistant is a key position that supports the team by gathering necessary information and documents for escrow closings; and maintaining records and accounts. Specific job responsibilities include:
Welcomes and greets customers and visitors, in person or on the telephone. Maintains files and documents. Sends out appropriate correspondence. Researches records. Performs clerical duties such as filing, faxing, mailings, etc. Schedules real estate closings and obtains any necessary documents or information to complete the transaction. Prepares files per real estate contract and title commitment as well as any necessary escrow documents and other title-related documents Protects customers' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information. Disburse the file as required after each closing, if requested. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required). A valid driver's license and the ability to travel on occasion as needed. The ability to obtain a State of Kansas Title Insurance License is required within your first 6 months of employment – the company will provide assistance if needed. 1-3 years of previous experience in title insurance, lending, or real estate is preferred. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word. Strong customer service, communication, and attention to detail. Dependability, strong work ethic and punctuality are a must. Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast paced environment. Job Type: Full-time
