We are currently seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment to support our operations and ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including construction, excavation, and maintenance projects. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks. You will work closely with our project managers and teams to complete projects on time and within budget.
We are looking for an experienced and responsible individual who is passionate about equipment operation and has a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of construction and excavation processes, as well as a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate a variety of heavy machinery and equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure proper functioning and performance. Collaborate with project managers and teams to plan and execute projects effectively. Adhere to project specifications and requirements for equipment operation. Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks on equipment as needed. Monitor project progress and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an equipment operator. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of construction and excavation processes. Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Physical stamina to withstand long hours and lift heavy objects. Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair.
