The Business Development Account Manager role is an exciting opportunity within our logistics division, supporting our operations team.Responsibilities include securing and developing new and existing accounts from provided leads and turning on and growing new business.Candidates should thrive in a fast-paced work environment and be highly motivated.

Responsibilities
• Develop new customer relationships based off of supplied leads• Build and nurture existing customer relationships• Solicit new and existing customers for freight opportunities• Manage all account communication in a timely and professional manner• Assist customers in identifying services that fit their needs and provide information on additional services• Actively manage follow up of leads and existing accounts• Source capacity to meet customer needs• Complete pricing requests and customer bids• Work directly with operations and account management to support customer accounts
Requirements
• Ability to work successfully and professionally in a team-based environment• Extremely organized and detail oriented• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to negotiate rates, sell services, and build professional relationships via telephone and email• Strong communication (both verbal and written), problem solving, & decision-making skills• Bachelor's degree preferred
