Handling timelines, budgets, people and process- it's all in a day’s work. You're in the thick of it - engaging with all departments, all the time - and loving it!What you can expect day-to-day:Serving as the primary client liaison, you will build strong and lasting relationships with clients (including senior management) by achieving the client’s marketing objectives, leading development of communications strategies, and resolving issues around project scope, fees, timing, or progress.TheEngagement Manageris responsible for exceeding client expectations through superior implementation, delivery and management of products and solutions. This individual is responsible for determining how to bring the best to the clients.  Engagement Managers are the heart and center of managing the day-to-day activities of the full engagement team.  Engagement Managers work closely with clients and Executive personnel to continually define the problem and deploy solutions by supporting the team in executing various work streams.  Engagement Managers ensure the engagement stays on track and is focused on delivering valuable insights to the client while also coaching and mentoring analysts and consultants on their team. The Engagement Manager will utilize their skills through a breadth of challenges delivering long term effect to leaders in the health care sector.Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:Managing project teams including both internal and external resources in the design, development and delivery of client solutionsLeveraging business experience and acumen in identifying strategic alternatives and project approach to client questionsProactively mentoring, coaching and sharing subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clientsServing as key point of contact with clients, managing the process of proposal preparation and/or modifications including overall bid integrityProviding follow-up with client after project deliverable has been completed to ensure client satisfactionDeveloping broader and deeper knowledge of consulting methodologies and the pharmaceutical market through on the job experience and trainingProviding direction, advice and intellectual leadership to clients and delivery teams, through consistent participation in team meetingsProactively identifying Business Development opportunities and coordinate follow up effortsProvides high level input and ensures the development of client records and presentations and delivers all or significant portions of findings to clientLeading ad hoc work streams on critical people-related issues such as recruitment, learning and developmentEnsures clear communication throughout projects and amongst teamServing as key point of contact with clientsAbility to travel 15-50% of the time depending on project assignment. Qualifications:Minimum Required:Education: Bachelor degree required.4-8 years’ experience of Pharmaceuticals, Managed Markets Consulting or Managed Markets agency experience with broad based experience in sales, managed care, marketing and/or managed care analytics.Preferred:Masters or MBADefined experience within Commercial Strategy.Demonstrable experience in the following areas: leadership and influence in sizable and multi-disciplined teams, understanding and assessing client needs, incorporating in deliverables, and ensuring recommendations/results are implemented.Experience in developing credible relationships with senior level managers and executives in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. 5+ years of experience in Pharmaceuticals, Managed Markets Consulting or Managed Markets agency experience with broad based experience in sales, managed care, marketing and/or analytics including direct reporting Management, vendor oversight, communication and management.Client facing experience and Medical, legal, regulatory review experienceExperience in developing credible relationships with senior level managers and executives in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech business, marketing, financial or statistical analysisDemonstrated ability to function as a successful project manager across multiple projects3+ years in an Account Services role within a pharmaceutical/medical communications company#LI-Remote
