This is what #LifeAtBNYMellonis all about.We're seeking a future team member for the role of Embedded Technology Risk Manager to be located at ourLake Mary office (northern Orlando, FL) via hybrid schedule (3 days per week in-office).In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:Responsible for creating the Governance, Policies/Procedures, Methodologies and Tools for establishing and maintaining a strong risk culture.Uses in-depth knowledge of information technology, risk and control frameworks, risk and control theory and practice, and controls implementation and assessment to determine potential risks to the organization.Manages analysis and draws conclusions in order to recommend and direct any resulting change needed to mitigate risk.Oversees strategy and development of the risk framework and identifying, analyzing, monitoring, reporting, and minimizing information technology risksReviews Technology Risk Control related reports produced by the management team for accuracy and legibility.Determines what information, metrics and associated reporting is appropriate for presentation to senior management.Develops and presents risk intelligence plans, strategy and inputs into centralized processes for senior management consumption.Develops the plan for the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework and High-Level Assessment (HLA) processes for the CIO.Accountable for the development, strategy and facilitation for assessment, audits, regulatory interaction and preparation for Key Risk Review meetingsResponsible for recruiting, directing, motivating and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a teamResponsible to ensure risk awareness culture by facilitating risk training and awareness activities such as self-identifying control issues.Approves projects to revise policies and plans, as needed.Leads preparation and serves as the main point of contact for interactions with regulatory bodies.To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.10-12 years of total work experience, with 1-3 years of management experience, preferred.Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.CISA, CISSP or CRISC and ISACA certifications preferred.Responsible for the achievement of global goals and objectives of a departmentStrong written and verbal communicationCommunication skills must range from participation in detailed technical discussions to business-oriented presentations to working closely with senior management.At BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself.
