Responsibilities
• Reads work orders and follows production drawings• Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship• Performs operations to join or secure parts• Connects component lead wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads• Assembles and attaches hardware• Performs intermediate assembly tasks• Adjusts or trims materials from components• Performs on-line go-not-go testing and inspection• May perform assembly operations under microscope
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED• Minimum of 6 months of related experience or specialized training• Previous soldering experience or skills• J-STD or IPC certification• Mathematical skills with emphasis on computing rates, ratios, and percentages• Thorough knowledge of calibration, reading drawings, blueprints, and schematics
