Full time Contract to Direct opportunity in Kenosha for an Electro-Mechanical Technician. Qualified person must have both an electrical and mechanical background. Travel will be required upon going direct in 6 months - up to 25%, all national. 1st shift: 6am - 2:30p Mon - Fri OT is available Hourly rate up to $30.00/hr Duties & Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical equipment, including but not limited to motors, generators, transformers, and control systems
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to identify and address potential issues before they become critical
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance and efficiency
Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to understand equipment specifications and configurations
Perform regular testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Calibrate and adjust machinery components to maintain accuracy and efficiency
Document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts replaced, work performed, and equipment conditions, to maintain accurate records
Collaborate with other technicians and departments to share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or in electro-mechanical technology is preferred
3 years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician or a similar role
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and mechanical components
Ability to use diagnostic tools, meters, and hand tools effectively
Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations in an industrial setting
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with relevant software and computerized systems used in electro-mechanical maintenance is a plus
