Ash Grove Cement is hiring an ElectricianWork schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:00pm OR Tuesday-Friday 6:00am-4:00pmPay: $40.06 per hour

Responsibilities
• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines• Provide production support in electrical and mechanical repair and maintenance• Troubleshoot and repair plant instrumentation systems and controls• Repair electrical power distribution equipment and control systems• Design electrical systems and install electrical equipment• Operate diagnostic equipment and test electrical systems• Perform other repair and maintenance tasks as needed• Prepare paperwork for repairs and maintenance work• Provide vacation relief coverage for Electrical Supervisor• Follow instructions and perform other work assignments as requested
Requirements
• Willingness to work various shifts including weekends• High School Diploma or equivalent required• Preferred Associates degree in related field• Journeyman Electrician License preferred• 2 years of experience in industrial electrical and/or instrumentation repair• Proficient in English written and verbal communication• Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, and controls• Proficiency with instrumentation and control systems• Ability to read and use electrical schematics and drawings• Skilled in welding, motor alignment, and fabrication• Ability to install equipment and machinery• Knowledge of arithmetic and ability to read blueprints• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals and problem solve• Physical abilities including walking, climbing, bending, and lifting• Ability to work at heights up to 215 feet
