Responsibilities
• Layout – Routing of wiring bundles on a form board• Strip/Crimp – Stripping back wire at specified lengths and crimping• Solder Sleeves – Stripping shielded and/or jacketed wire• Insertion – Inserting crimped and empty contacts into various types of connectors• Torque – Tightening connector assemblies and back shells to torque specifications• Tape – Installing miscellaneous types and widths of tape• Close/Band – Installing miscellaneous types of bands to secure shield and/or metal over braiding• Develop an understanding of the principles of continuity and operation of test equipment• Perform all duties in accordance with Quality Management System and Safety standards• Knowledge of basic hand tools required
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Soldering, Cable/Harness Fabrication, Electrical assembly, and blueprint reading• High School Diploma or equivalent• Basic computer skills using Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Word preferred• J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification preferred
