Job Summary Join our team to support exciting projects and maintenance in chemical facilities. You'll create detailed electrical drawings, including P&ID changes, power distribution schematics, and construction details. If you have expertise in power distribution, motor control, PLC/DCS control, instrumentation, wire & cable sizing, and NEC requirements, and can develop engineering drawings independently, we invite you to apply and be part of our innovative team.
Project work and maintenance support in chemical facilities, candidate will provide drawings for electrical equipment, power supply components, instruments, panels, and related wiring. Drawings include P&ID changes, single line electrical distribution, motor schematics, control schematics, details required for construction fabrication, installation, quality control, cost estimating, and documentation of loop data. Work includes gathering field information, locating related reference drawings, preparing specifications, getting quotes for E & I items and writing E & I sections of scopes of work. Must have a good working knowledge of power distribution, motor control, PLC/DCS control, instrumentation, wire & cable sizing, NEC requirements, etc. Develop to completion engineering drawings of complex area of the project with little or no supervision Prepare complete engineering drawings for a complex area of the project in conformance with the requirements of applicable codes and design criteria established by the project discipline engineer Prepare complete information for design details, bill of material, etc. that can be completed by lower classified personnel Check drawings supplied by vendors, clients and other discipline groups that affect the specific area or areas assigned Skills Required AutoCAD Micro-Station is a plus Microsoft Office Products Good communication & documentation of work products are essential Education/Training/Certifications High School Degree or GED
