25% - Research - identifying trends, competencies, and training opportunities for improving staff output 20% - Informational Interviews 20%- developing a in depth understanding of different roles, their functions in the organization, education attainment, and years of experience. 25% - Meeting with different departments, stakeholders, and school sites 10% - Compiling data and reports - Developing conclusion, outlining strategies, and suggestions for next steps The EP Fellow will develop a detailed competency map outlining the key skills, knowledge, and behaviors required for non-credentialed educators who focus on improving school culture, attendance, and behavior. This map will serve as a comprehensive guide for professional development, recruitment, and performance evaluation, helping to ensure that educators are equipped with the necessary competencies to excel in their roles. Building on the competency map, the EP Fellow will design and implement a tailored training and professional development program for non-credentialed educators. This program will include workshops, seminars, online modules, and mentoring opportunities aimed at enhancing educators' skills in areas such as conflict resolution, relationship-building, trauma-informed practices, and positive behavior management strategies. The program will be designed to be accessible, engaging, and relevant to the specific needs of educators working to improve culture, attendance, and behavior in schools. The EP Fellow will establish an evaluation framework to assess the effectiveness of the competency maps and training programs in supporting non-credentialed educators. This framework will include measures such as pre- and post-training assessments, feedback surveys from participants, qualitative interviews with educators and school leaders, and analysis of outcome data related to school culture, attendance rates, and behavior incidents.
