Responsibilities
• Assist Driller in various drilling activities• Load and unload augers• Prepare tooling and supplies• Assemble and disassemble augers• Locate boring locations• Retrieve and log samples• Clean and maintain equipment• Perform general site clean-up
Requirements
• HS Education or Equivalent preferred• No experience required - training provided• Experience assisting in geotechnical drilling encouraged• Basic math skills required• Ability to follow instructions and tasks• Able to work off shifts and overtime• Able to travel up to 25% of the time• Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record required• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently• Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication• Ability to kneel and squat occasionally• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions• Ability to climb occasionally
