Job Description As a Distribution and Fulfillment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our customer focused operations by efficiently picking and packing orders while prioritizing safety and timeliness. In addition to handling inventory pickups and receiving tasks, you will uphold a clean and organized workspace. Regular inventory cycle counts will be conducted as part of your responsibilities to ensure accurate stock levels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe, organized, and clean distribution center.
Pick and pack customer orders.
Coordinate pick up orders from local suppliers.
Receive and record orders into our inventory management system.
Organize samples and other inventory.
Perform inventory cycle counts as needed.
Provide excellent customer experience.
Qualifications Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment with constantly changing demands.
Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.
Must be ambitious, self-motivated, highly professional, and have a positive attitude.
Ability to read, write, and sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
Basic math skills in counting and adding quantity required.
Must have dependable personal transportation and a valid Oklahoma driver's license.
Additional Information SmithDryden offices and distribution center are located in Edmond, Oklahoma. The hours for the position are Monday – Friday from 9:00am to 3:30pm, averaging 30 hours per week. The pay range for the position is $18 - $20 per hour based on knowledge and experience.
Travel in the Oklahoma City metro area will be required, as needed. Individuals will need to be able to frequently lift or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds. The position requires individuals to be on their feet and frequently climb, knell/squat, bend, and carry. Due to the nature of picking and packing, specific vision abilities are required such as the ability to use close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
