Summary of Responsibility:The Dishwasher is responsible for assisting with the preparation and service of food for all of the residents, while meeting the cleanliness needs of the Kitchen and Dining Room. Records temperatures of food according to established policy.Maintains the proper temperature and sanitation of dish machine during use. Records temperatures of dish machine according to established policy.Labels, dates and stores food and chemicals properly according to established policies.Ensures that refrigerator/freezer temperatures are within the appropriate range and reports any discrepancies to the supervisor.Washes pots, pans, serving utensils, etc. according to established procedures for manual and/or automatic dishwashing.
