About you: You are a quick mover and pride yourself on getting things done efficiently. You are energized by maintaining order in the chaos. You seek out opportunities to 'leave it better than you found it.' You believe that being on time means being five minutes early. You are willing to acknowledge mistakes and learn from them. You want to get started on a career working in a kitchen. What You Will be Doing: The Dish Attendant is responsible for cleaning dishes to ensure there's a steady supply of pots, pans, and trays. Their duties include prioritizing loads and keeping the dish room and kitchen clean and free of waste. Duties include:
Scrape, rinse, and load dishes in the commercial grade dishwasher Manually wash large pots and pans, including scrubbing off stuck on debris Unload dishes and from dish machine and organize them properly Sanitize and wipe down dish room and kitchen food prep stations Sweep and mop kitchen and dish room Clean hood vents, speed racks, and dish machine Collect and remove waste from floor and work surfaces Empty trash bins and take to the dumpster Follow all food safety procedures and safety guidelines Work as an additional kitchen staff support doing food prep What You Bring to the Table: Attention to detail Able to work while standing up for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs Commitment to food safety procedures and safety guidelines Experience using a commercial dishwasher a plus The Good Part! $15/hr Discounts at all Trolley House Hospitality companies including catering services, Parterre restaurant, and vending items in our warehouse Part-time employees who work at least 1,000 hours a year are eligible for 401k matching after the first year
