Dishwasher

Part time and on call hours, 15-30 hours per week Cookin Class is a by appointment cooking facility offering chef-led classes and private events. We are currently seeking a dishwasher to join our team. Approximately 24-32 hours per week including weekends. Shifts typically start around 4pm and conclude at 10pm (subject to change). List of duties include but are not limited to:

Placing and collecting bus tubs from guest cooking stations
Washing and restocking dishes and cooking equipment
Cleaning various areas of the facility including prep area, bathrooms, guest workstations and dining room.
Light laundry (towels, napkins)
Placing sanitizer buckets
Washing floor mats
Monthly deep cleans
Assisting chef / instructor with light prep
Sweeping & mopping floors
Dusting
Maintaining cleanliness and general working of industrial dishwasher
This position pays $20 an hour plus tips from bar sales; no additional benefits at this time.

This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and to stand for long periods. Cookin Class Management has the right to alter class schedules meaning if a class does not have adequate attendance, class/shifts will be canceled. Cookin Class is not your typical restaurant or service industry facility and schedules classes a month in advance so it is simple to plan your life and maintain a healthy work life balance. This position is perfect for a self-starter who can work independently and with little interference from management. The applicant should be comfortable working in a teaching environment and be comfortable working in close proximity to guests.
