Full job description Overview: Pluto TV's Director of Production Operations leads the end-to-end operations for all Marketing initiatives. They will work closely with the VP Production Operations to drive department strategy and implement workflow changes. The Production Operations Director is the air traffic control ensuring video, static, key art, social, and audio project delivers successfully, on time and within budget. They are the main contact for all day to day production issues as they arise. Join the team!

Responsibilities: Oversee daily production schedule from campaign management planning, creative ideation, resource assignments, production, Partner approvals, QC, to final delivery for all creative assets. Generate a comprehensive Asana schedule to capture timelines, resources, and status for all creative projects. Link crucial metadata to Airtable and Open Text. Lead weekly department meetings, directing project assignments for staff, double check that all PM assignments are accurate with larger campaign management timelines, Proof Partner feedback prior to agency/staff execution. Provide clarification to staff and Creative team of legal attributions, talent mandatories, or title treatment / other creative perimeters. Review Marketing trackers for project deadlines and mandatories. Build an Asana formatted system that connects Google sheets or migrates Marketing use. Initiate legal clearances for all Pluto TV stunt or brand creative, including: imagery, copy, music licensing, fonts, plug ins, and other elements used in production. Lead Pluto TV's production operations standards with external parties including partners, media agencies, post production houses to ensure all final deliveries are to technical requirements. Lead weekly meetings with Marketing partners to forecasting upcoming projects, providing brand guidance, estimating production workbacks and communicating available resources. Support creative team's onboarding process with access to programs, software, hardware, and other resources they need by liaising with IT, HR, and cross-department team members. Provide a real-time brief for the VP Production Operations to refer to of creative projects, statuses, and roadblockers. Provide solutions to the daily production issues as they arise. Be the first line of resolution for Creative, Marketing, Product, Channel Ops, PR, and other team members when questions arise on a project. Be able to quickly access all components of the project's use and direct a solution that best resolves the issue.
Basic Qualifications: 7+ years' of relevant professional experience Proven experience in overseeing daily production schedules, including campaign management planning, resource assignments, approvals, QC, and final delivery of creative assets. Expertise in using project management tools like Asana to generate comprehensive schedules, capture timelines, resources, and project status for all creative projects. Excellent communication skills to proof Partner feedback, provide clarification on legal attributions, talent mandatories, and other creative parameters to staff and Creative team. Experience with Adobe Premiere, Frame.io, Sony Ci, Photoshop, After Effects, and other production software.
Additional Qualifications: Strong leadership skills to lead weekly department meetings, direct project assignments, and ensure accuracy in project management timelines. In-depth knowledge of legal clearances for creative assets, including imagery, copy, music licensing, fonts, and plug-ins, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines. Ability to lead production operations standards with external parties such as partners, media agencies, and post-production houses to ensure technical requirements are met. Proven track record in leading meetings with marketing partners, providing brand guidance, estimating production workbacks, and communicating resource availability. Strong collaboration skills to support the creative team's onboarding process by liaising with IT, HR, and cross-department stakeholders to provide necessary resources. Problem-solving skills to provide real-time solutions to daily production issues, act as the first line of resolution for team members across different departments, and quickly access and direct solutions for project-related challenges. #LI-Hybrid

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $110,400.00 - 145,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
