The Cypress is recruiting for a hospitality focused Director of Nursing to join our Health Center team! Under the direction of the Administrator, has the twenty-four-hour responsibility for nursing care of all Members through the management of all nursing personnel. This individual is responsible for maintaining a system of care in an environment that promotes hospitality and quality of life by insuring dignity and respect in full recognition of each Member's individuality. The Director of Nursing will establish policies, procedures, objectives, and work standards while directing the nursing personnel in a manner which ensures quality Member centered care. The Director of Nursing is required to maintain a professional team-oriented philosophy which grows and adapts to the prevailing philosophy of The Cypress and the industry as a whole, and imparts this philosophy by word and example to the care giving team. This individual is responsible for ensuring that the system of care meets all federal and state regulations.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: Bachelor's degree in accredited school of nursing preferred. Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of North Carolina with no findings of abuse, neglect or misappropriation of resident property. Current CPR and BLS certification. Minimum of five years' experience required. Current registration with the State Board of Nursing Examiners. Supervisory and geriatric nursing experience. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment with agility and flexibility. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
