Opportunity: Lead and grow a thriving landscape division focused on delivering exceptional services to homebuilders. As the Director of Homebuilder Services, you will drive growth, ensure profitability, and foster a high-performing team dedicated to transforming communities through beautiful and functional landscapes.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Development: Recruit, mentor, develop, and train a talented team of managers and crew members. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Strategic Growth: Develop and implement growth strategies to expand the division's market share, cultivate relationships with key homebuilders, and identify new opportunities for landscape and irrigation installation, environmental services, and land development projects. Operational Excellence: Establish and maintain rigorous quality assurance standards, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget. Financial Performance: Oversee the division's budget, monitor profitability, and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and cost savings. Client Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with homebuilders, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding their expectations. Safety & Compliance: Prioritize safety across all operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: Business Management, Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field preferred. Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in the landscape or construction industry, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role. Homebuilder Expertise: Proven success working with homebuilders, understanding their needs, and delivering high-quality landscape solutions. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of landscape and irrigation design, installation, and maintenance practices, as well as environmental services and land development. Financial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and make sound business decisions. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels. Software Proficiency: Experience with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
