Here, you'll have the opportunity to build a powerful foundation for America's future and yours.What we're seeking:As the Director of Information Technology in the digital domain, you will be working closely with business stakeholders, prioritizing the digital roadmap, partnering with stakeholders, and overseeing the execution of high-impact initiatives. This person will interface with diverse groups both internally and externally to Frontier, including Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and executive leadership while representing the voice of the customer.In this in-person role, you will be required to report to 1919 McKinney Ave, Dallas, TX to complete your work responsibilities.What you'll do:Manages large, complex digital initiatives in a results-driven environmentEnsures alignment and understanding of decision impact across teamsLeverages relationships and insights to reduce ambiguity to drive resultsClearly articulates goals, communicates, and defends (or redefines) the value propositionOversee the management of the entire technology portfolio including monitoring performance, identifying risks, and developing investment strategiesManages portfolio budget and forecastResponsible for aligning the digital portfolio of work to the business strategyProvides regular updates on portfolio performance and value deliveryCreate and communicate a compelling vision for our portfolio of digital productsCollaborate closely with the full cross-functional team (engineering, design, operations, sales, marketing, security) to help execute the strategic visionCollect and analyze feedback from our customers, business partners, and operations team to distill down into actionable insightsMonitor the competitive and technological landscape for opportunities and/or product implicationsProvides leadership in the strategic planning process – giving guidance, advice, and input into the organization's ability to realize the strategies through investment appraisals, prioritization, and resource planningProvides leadership to portfolio/program managers; builds, mentors, convenes, and coordinates the activities of a high-performing teamApplication of best practices for portfolio execution and managementThought leader and change agent in the establishment of an enterprise-wide strategy for unified portfolio, program, and project managementCollaborates with company leadership, business owners, and other stakeholders, (e.g., operations, engineering teams) to refine goals, and then define approaches to achieve them. Defines the business case and ensures alignment with the business vision and strategyAnalyze and evaluate potential risks associated with portfolio decisions, developing, and implementing risk management strategiesContinuously improve portfolio processes and systems to maximize efficiency and effectivenessHires, leads, manages, coaches, develops, and evaluates direct and indirect reportsManage a team of at least 4 offshore/global vendors/resourcesWhat we offer:Nothing is more important to our success than the team that built it. Some of which we're most proud to offer includes:Salary Range: $150,000 to $200,00020 PTO (Paid Time Off) days + 10 paid holidays per yearDay one medical, dental, vision and prescription drug plan401k match of 50% on 6% of eligible compensationSame-sex spouse and domestic partner benefits coverage10 weeks of paid parental leave, 3 weeks of paid caregiver leave and up to $10k in adoption program assistanceWhat background you should have:Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience performing Portfolio / Program / Project ManagementSuperior communication skills, written and verbalExperience presenting to executive leadershipDemonstrate high energy/creativity and entrepreneurial skillsExperience working in a fast-paced agile environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience developing strategic initiatives that align with business goals and budgetsExperience in the identification, assessment, and contingency planning for risk factorsExperience developing, implementing, managing, and improving complex operational workflows with an emphasis on scalability and value deliveryExperience working with tech organizations and managing digital channels– including teams in software development, infrastructure, digital, data management, and othersExperience with MS Office SuiteAt least 3 years experience in quantitative portfolio management; leading and managing largescale programs and knowledgeable of agile modelsAt least 3 years of experience negotiating with outside vendors, including negotiating contracts, and prices, resolving service issues, and reconciling differencesAt least 3 years of experience working with stakeholders at the most senior levels of an organizationAt least 3 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplaceAt least 3 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadershipAt least 3 years managing 10+ person teams (vendors, FTEs, global teams)Willing to travel up to/at least 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)Frontier salaries are estimated by third parties and may or may not reflect actual or total compensation.
