WHAT IS PEDIATRIC FEEDING DISORDER?
Pediatric feeding disorder (PFD) is clinically defined as impaired oral intake that is not age-appropriate and is associated with medical, nutrition, feeding skill, and/or psychosocial dysfunction. PFD afflicts more than 1 in 37 children under the age of 5 the United States.

POSITION SUMMARY
Feeding Matters is seeking a full-time Director of Awareness and Partnerships to join our dedicated team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this pivotal role will oversee all aspects of awareness efforts for Pediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD) and Feeding Matters. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities and a successful history of strategic marketing and partnership development. As the Director and Department lead, you will be instrumental in implementing strategies and identifying solutions to ensure the sustainability of our mission.
Established in 2006, Feeding Matters is the first organization in the world uniting the concerns of families with the field's leading advocates, experts, and allied healthcare professionals to improve the system of care for PFD through advocacy, education, support, and research.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Strategy Develop recommendations for refining the brand and enhancing donor awareness, interest, and engagement. Review and design digital campaign strategy focused on revenue growth and donor/patron satisfaction and engagement. Write, develop, edit, and lead the design of content for public facing communication including print, electronic communication, website, and social. Oversee and revise contracts for existing awareness services to ensure contractual compliance and alignment with awareness strategy. Oversee the creation of reports, case statements, proposals and impact reports that serve our stewardship goals and also reflect the high standard of quality required in all of our communications. Facilitate the creation of marketing and messaging to support all fundraising activities. Build and foster relationships with constituents and other stakeholders to gain community support and awareness, collaborate efforts, and solicit input. Awareness Department Contribute to the assessment of business cases for new programs and initiatives. Participate in Feeding Matters's ongoing strategic planning process, working with the CEO to plan, implement and monitor short-term and long-term marketing strategies, goals, and tasks. Develop, manage, and monitor the annual marketing budget, project cost estimates, as well as budgets for campaigns, and special events, outreach, and other special events/projects as required. Generate new ideas, partnerships, and avenues to expand Feeding Matters' revenue opportunities and overall financial position. Oversee the management of all website-related activities. Oversee awareness expansion projects: Documentary, Kid's Book, Picky Eating Campaigns, and more social activities. Coordinate approach to audience segmentation. Monitor program expenditures ensuring that budget allocations are adhered to. Establish KPI's and where possible, dashboards to easily monitor current results and results over time. Oversee Awareness and Communications Specialist and existing Awareness Contractors (PR, web administration, social media, brand journalism). Corporate Partnerships Identify, research, and approach potential corporate partners aligned with Feeding Matters' values and goals. Develop comprehensive partnership proposals tailored to the interests and objectives of each potential partner. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that partnership initiatives align with the organization's mission and priorities. Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, outlining mutually beneficial terms and deliverables. Maintain ongoing communication with corporate partners, ensuring their satisfaction and engagement with Feeding Matters' initiatives. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in marketing and communications within complex organizations situated in a competitive marketplace. Experience in developing brand positioning through research and executing on the positioning to the success of the organization. Experience working with board members, volunteers, donors. Experience in managing and motivating other professionals and external vendors to success. Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines. Proficient in the use of CRM database products. Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working with multiple constituencies to build consensus and cooperation. Ability to formulate strategic plans, develop and implement programs, and evaluate the success of these initiatives. Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data; create reports; and communicate results and recommendations. Highly effective communicator with excellent writing skills. HOW TO APPLY
