Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced human resource director with a financial background, to undertake all aspects of financial and human resource management:

The HR responsibilities include administering the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding staff, and administering pay, benefits, and leave. Additionally, the candidate wil be responsible for creating, administering, and assisting with implementation of HR policies and procedures, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement. The incumbent will be responsible for creating and implementing HR policy-related training for managers and staff.

The Finance responsibilities include administering the daily functions o f the corporate accounting (A/P, AR/ &payroll), regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures including financial risk management.
Responsibilities Human Resource
Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Conducts or acquires background/reference checks and employee eligibility verifications. Implements new hire orientation, onboarding, and employee recognition programs. Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Finance
Manage all accounting operations including Biling, A/R, A/P, LG and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting Research technical accounting issues for compliance Support month-end and year-end close process Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Additional duties as necessary. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is a plus but not required. Expert in QuickBooks, +3 years experience Combined accounting/finance experience and/or progressive human resource experience required Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Working knowledge of human resource regulations Experience with creating financial statements Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process Excellent accounting software user and administration skills Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner Bilingual - Fluency in Spanish a plus Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities. Compensation & Perks Starting salary $45,000 - $65,000, based on experience. Benefits :
