The Director of Healthcare Pathway Partnership will directly oversee and manage the functioning partnership between Uplift and BSWH in our growth and founding of the Uplift Heights Healthcare High School and the Uplift Grand healthcare pathway program. Through their leadership, these scholars will gain deep experience of the variety of healthcare careers, while the Director will create a series of experiences that will support scholar learning, while also engaging and supporting adult instructors in the building and execution of our new venture. Duties/Responsibilities: Program Leadership: Be the primary driver of our on campus partnership with BSWH. In this role, this person will oversee the variety of experiences, both in and out of class, that Uplift Heights students will experience during their 4 years in high school. Set and execute short and long term strategic priorities to continue to continue to support all Uplift Heights and Uplift Grand healthcare scholars into college and economically viable careers. Determine strengths and areas of growth for campus and develop comprehensive plans of action to achieve strategic priorities through these challenges. Collect, analyze, and report qualitative and quantitative data from Uplift Heights high school scholars' academic and college admissions progress, and share out to campus and network leadership and BSWH teams to improve college and career readiness, and college admissions for all Uplift Heights scholars. Oversee career exposure activities, experiences, and opportunities with industry professionals within healthcare. Develop personal goal setting structures and strategies for Uplift Heights scholars to ensure that they are able to speak thoughtfully and cogently about their career progression and plan, and to make a decision on their pathway decision, before the end of their 10th grade year Identify, research, and acquire programs, products, and resources necessary to improve efficiency and productivity of the Uplift Heights, Uplift Grand, and BSWH career partnership Develop and manage appropriate and necessary opportunities for celebration and partnership during the school year to ensure scholars are building the agency and excitement for their career journeys and HS choice Instructional Management and Leadership (Coaching, Planning & Management) Support with the selection and curriculum development of healthcare pathway CTE courses Establish and implement systems and protocols to regularly and effectively program instructional practice Coach and develop campus staff in the support of and management of the Healthcare program Monitor scholar progress and learning to ensure effective outcomes for scholars during program Scholar Culture & Family Partnership Develop and manage programs to ensure scholar engagement and culture aligns to the needs of scholars in the programs and gives scholars the opportunity to engage in a variety of healthcare related activities Execute of a robust series of educational and exposure experiences for scholars that ensures they are able to make informed choices on the variety of careers within healthcare Support and facilitate meetings and engagement opportunities with parents, families, and community members with the hospital community to develop connections between school community and BSWH community Education, Experience, and/or Certification(s) Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree required and Masters' degree preferred; Individual must have experience as a school or district-level administrator and have led complex teams towards challenging outcomes Required Skills/Abilities: Bilingual Skills: Preferred, but not required Technology: Able to use Microsoft Suite and any program related technology with a high level of fluency Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit and use the wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work at a desk and computer screen for extended periods of time. Work Environment:
District-wide travel required. Occasional local and national travel is required. Occasional prolonged and irregular hours required. Majority of work done in an office setting. Starting Salary: $90,000 Application Procedure:
