Job Description – Director, Market Strategy General Description
The Director, Market Strategy will research and provide analysis to the Commercial Development and Commercial Operations teams to help set strategy on new markets we will enter, our project pipelines, and to support the development of capture plans.  The position will also assist in the development of financial deliverables for proposals such as payment schedules and termination schedules. In addition, the position will develop and maintain a database on the activity in the marketplace. Duties Supporting the team on building out the pipeline and capture plans for pursuits Understanding and communicating what our competitive advantage is for given area Understanding and communicating to the organization what is happening in the RTO's (PJM, MISO, CAISO, SERC etc.) so we can develop a strategy on how to approach pursuits.   Help us understand and develop a strategy for new markets Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures Performs special projects and completes other duties as assigned or requested Required Experience and Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or relevant field 5 years' experience in supporting an organization from a strategic perspective.   Skills Ability to extract, evaluate, and utilize data to communicate effectively a strategy. Self-starter who can work independently while supporting the needs of the team Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Travel Requirements Travel:  Yes Percent of Time:  Up to 10%
