Andersen Consulting is seeking a leader to help build a global Sustainability and Operations Transformation practice. This individual will have proven experience building cross-geography consulting teams. This leader will work on both market-facing solutions as well as improving the internal operations at Andersen Consulting.
This role includes: As the Head of Sustainability and Operations Transformation, you will help define and promote solutions for our clients to fulfill their business needs in these areas. You will build a workforce of distinguished services professionals who will work with the business, technical, architecture and product leads across our clients to develop and implement these solutions. You will structure and design the Sustainability and Operations Transformation teams to meet the broad needs of the market, including industry and/or technology alignment. You will collaborate with other Andersen Consulting practices to build joint go-to-market offerings.
You will help establish a competitive position and brand for Andersen Consulting against other service providers in these areas. You will drive new business opportunities and sales, leveraging your deep expertise in these areas. You will create new solutions and assets to augment consulting services that drive differentiation and alternative revenue streams.
You are a dynamic leader capable of facing off with senior business stakeholders to explain business concepts while also equally comfortable working with delivery teams to review and provide direction on their work. You will stay on top of new trends in the areas of sustainability and operations that will keep Andersen Consulting at the forefront of innovation and change.
You will put into place processes to ensure Andersen Consulting operates as one globally integrated business and establish financial tracking and reporting processes to consistently monitor the health of the business. ?
In addition, you will play a key role shaping the growth and expansion strategy of Andersen Consulting. This includes corporate development and acquisition activities to enter new markets and strategically scale your team. Other key responsibilities include:
Identifying and developing new client opportunities and leading sales campaigns aligned to your offerings and competency areas. Managing and developing strategic client relationships while ensuring the highest quality client work, and inspiring, leading and developing new consulting staff. Identifying and forming strategic business alliances with technology companies, designing joint go-to-market offerings, and co-developing solutions. Crafting market-facing materials, such as research pieces, white papers, points of view to market our capabilities and create demand for our services Collaborating with other Andersen service lines (i.e. Tax, Legal) to establish a set of enterprise design principles and standards for building client-facing technology Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in the consulting industry and a distinctive record of professional achievement and impact. Managing Director/Director (or equivalent title) experience at a tier-one consulting firm or executive-level position in industry within an operational function. Leader with experience standing up global operations practices within the consulting industry. This role will focus on implementing strategies, plans, and procedures that drive efficiency across Andersen Consulting while also leading the market-facing Transforming Operations competency. A passion to learn and develop new service offerings, with sustainability being your primary area of focus. Example: Develop a solution to help clients monitor and manage their carbon emissions on an ongoing basis, and perpetually bring new thinking and solutions to improve on those results. Define consulting commercial models tied to competency areas, including complex deals (fees at risk/outcomes based, gain share, etc.)? Define consulting deal governance processes to ensure proper approach, staffing, and commercial terms are included in each deal ?. Build out estimation models for projects based on competency. ? Work with specific accounts to define standard consulting rate cards and service agreements ? Support all activities related to getting Andersen Consulting included on preferred supplier lists at target clients ?. Work with competency leaders to define standard performance metrics based on roles/skillsets of team ?. Support competency leaders to integrate roll-ups into their businesses ?.
