We are a leading organization dedicated to advancing clinical research through innovative data integration, sharing, and security solutions. As the Clinical Research Informatics (CRI) Program Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the convergence of clinical care and research.
Role Overview:
As the CRI Program Director, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and administrative functions, including program planning, evaluation, policy implementation, and personnel management. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping program content, policies, and strategic planning efforts.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Science, Clinical Research, Bioinformatics, or related field.
Graduate study in Informatics, Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
Experience:
7-10 years of leadership and management experience in Health Information Data Management or providing informatics tools and services.
Experience providing informatics tools/services to academic researchers.
Experience within an academic medical/healthcare environment preferred.
Experience implementing and managing clinical trials and research data warehouses.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, balancing strategic alignment with practical delivery.
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Program Management (70%):
Develop and communicate CRI program objectives and content to internal and external stakeholders.
Establish operating policies and processes to ensure effective, efficient, and secure data use.
Collaborate with various stakeholders in defining, prioritizing, and executing applications and streamlined processes.
Conduct program evaluation and present reports on productivity and impact to leadership.
Develop marketing strategies to promote the program and enhance user experience.
Ensure the security and integrity of data systems and databases.
Plan and conduct quality assurance reviews and recommend changes as needed.
Identify technical education opportunities to enhance user experience.
Lead Data Governance initiatives as assigned.
Finance and Management (10%):
Develop and manage program budgets and resource allocations.
Supervise subordinate staff and recommend staffing needs based on program goals.
Recruit, hire, train, and assess staff performance.
Research (20%):
Assist in writing grant applications, IRB applications, publications, and presentations.
Collaborate with stakeholders on new initiatives and service opportunities.
Manage the delivery of CRI services to researchers with a focus on quality customer service and user training.
Other duties as assigned.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 175,000.00 220,000.00 Per Year
