Job Summary:McSweeney Chevrolet GMC/CDJR is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician to join our team in Clanton, Alabama. This is a full-time role where the ideal candidate will have previous experience working with diesel engines and a strong understanding of automotive technology. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for identifying and repairing diesel engine issues, completing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.Compensation & Benefits:We offer industry leading compensation depending on experience and certifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer an excellent benefits package, including health, dental, vision, paid time off, and employee discounts.Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic componentsPerform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, fuel filter replacements, and other general diesel related preventative maintenanceKeep up-to-date with all technical service bulletins and manufacturer recallsUtilize diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues with diesel engines and drivetrainsCommunicate with Service Advisors and customers to explain repairs needed and provide cost estimatesKeep accurate records of all services and repairs performedMaintain a clean and organized work areaAdhere to all safety guidelines and proceduresRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years experience working with diesel engines.
