The Development Coordinator will focus on stewardship and building donor relationships through excellent data management, organization, and communication. This job announcement is not intended to be inclusive of all functions, responsibilities and qualifications associated with the position, however, representative of the essential job functions and typical criteria considered necessary to successfully perform the position. Execute all donation processing and tracking across multiple giving platforms to ensure all donor information is up to date and that all donations are processed promptly. Work collaboratively with YMCA center staff and finance staff to ensure accuracy in gift processing and tracking. Coordinate donor database, to include gift entry, grant entry, moves management monitoring, donor profile updates, and regular progress reporting. Execute donor stewardship efforts to include: donation acknowledgements, recurring donation acknowledgements, quarterly gratitude outreach, and a variety of reports for fundraising efforts as requested. Develop new and unique ways to educate and connect with current donors, lapsed donors, and potential donors. Ensure giving to the Y is a positive experience using knowledge of organizational practices and policies. Plan, initiate, prepare, and distribute correspondence to internal and external audiences. Collaborate with finance staff for monthly donation reconciliation and smooth data-sharing between the donor database, external giving platforms, and the accounting system. Prepare all requested reports and files for annual audit. Ensure donor recognition systems are current and accurate at each YMCA center. Implement strategic and thorough record administration and file management to ensure operational efficiency. Provide vent support for all Association-wide development events including Annual Celebration, Golf Tournament, 5k R ace S eries and any donor or volunteer recognition events. Minimum age of 18 years old. 2 years + work/internship experience in fundraising, nonprofit administration, or business administration Experience with donor databases or CRMs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail. Experience with mailing lists, mail merge files, and print materials logistics/coordination. Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively and respectfully work with diverse individuals. Problem solver with a solutions-based mentality. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. All YMCA staff positions require certification in CPR/AED-Professional Rescuer, First Aid and Oxygen Administration. Preferred candidates will have current certifications however training is available.
