Product Developer III (multiple positions)
Responsible for design, development and code quality. Collaborate on agreed upon goals and objectives, including schedules, milestones and costs. Work with less experienced developers in an onshore/nearshore/offshore model through functional and technical designs. Work in partnership with team and serve as Scrum Master. Perform data design and data management based on knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures and Web Services Component Architectures utilizing Oracle, MSSQL Server and MySQL. Utilize design and coding skills in individual contribution capacity and code reviews of other team members. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and lead by example to meet schedule and scope commitments. Collaborate with quality assurance team members to structure test scenarios and plans. Present design and business process concepts for customer validation and team knowledge transfer purposes. Monitor resources and interim deliverables using agile scrum style communications. Troubleshoot issues quickly in support of hotfix demands as well as operate against a planned development schedule. Mentor and train new resources on the team. Serve as a thought leader in advancing the technology stack.
MINIMUM EDUCATION : Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : Plus three (3) years' experience with UI development utilizing Iconic for mobile applications development, Angular and J2EE framework to develop web-based applications in addition to Java Swing Component development. Experience working with a Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Management System in the maritime industry.
