Job summary
The Desktop Support Technician serves as the first point of contact for IT related support.Provides tier 1 client support for all technical issues.Strives to provide the best possible end user computing experience.

Responsibilities
• Provide daily support for PC hardware and software.• Assist with planning, installation, troubleshooting and ongoing support of special projects.• Instruct users and document system use.• Ensure expectations are being met by communicating and maintaining key business relationships.• Give feedback and recommendations to improve services.
Requirements
• Current Wisconsin resident at time of application.• Valid WI Driver's License and must be maintained throughout employment.• Associates Degree with at least one (1) year experience in Desktop Support and/or application support OR High School Diploma with at least three (3) years experience in Desktop Support and/or application support.• Knowledge of all related computer and software applications.• Knowledge of office/customer service principles, methods, and practices.• Oral and written communication skills.• Analytical skills, skill in data entry and in using a personal computer.• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.• Ability to exchange basic information with internal and/or external contacts.• Ability to make responsible decisions involving evaluation of information.• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 20lbs.
