Your Role on the Team
As an Asset Security Supervisor at Invitation Homes, you are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of vacant rental properties. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of security protocols, risk management, and a proven track record of implementing effective security measures in the residential real estate sector. This position includes but is not limited to the following activities:
Develop and implement comprehensive program aimed at maintaining secure, vacant rent-ready homes in identified geographic areas.
Review daily/weekly survey results to identify and mobilize the team to appropriately secure assets.
Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend process improvements.
Collaborate with property management teams to ensure the integration of security measures with day-to-day operations.
Utilize and deploy security technologies, including but not limited to surveillance systems, access controls, and alarm systems.
Work with local law enforcement and other government agencies as appropriate to address security-related matters.
Maintain current knowledge of local laws and codes related to residential trespassers and/or squatters.
Periodically check the occupancy and for visible damage of trespasser/squatter occupied properties.
Assess the home and define appropriate intervention (boarding up doors/windows, engaging with local law enforcement or other government agencies, etc.)
Your Experience Includes
Proven leadership experience cultivated during a career in law enforcement and/or military
Project management skills and basic knowledge of construction
Ability to occasionally address security-related needs during evening or weekend hours
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Solid understanding of Microsoft software products, particularly Excel

Salary Range
$61,650.00 - $106,860.00
