Position: Data Architect - Capital Market Location: Pittsburgh, PA Note: 3 Days/week Hybrid Summary: The role is aligned to the delivery team responsible for planning, development, and delivery of Insurance products for the Benchmarks and Indices business. This is a hands-on Data Architect - Capital Market with focus on delivering results on-time, in-full to the expected quality levels.
Job Description Collaborate with business stakeholders in FX and Capital Markets to understand their reporting needs and translate them into technical data requirements. Design and develop a data architecture for FX and Capital Markets reporting, considering data sources, transformation processes, data quality, and regulatory compliance. Develop and maintain data models for FX and Capital Markets data, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices. Select and implement appropriate data management tools and technologies for data integration, cleansing, transformation, and governance. Implement data privacy and security measures in compliance with regulatory requirements specific to FX and Capital Markets. Job Responsibilities Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience as a Data Architect, with a strong focus on the Foreign Exchange market. Deep understanding of Capital Markets reporting requirements and experience with regulatory compliance. Proficiency in data modeling tools and technologies, such as ER/Studio, Enterprise Architect, or SQL Server Data Tools. Strong experience with database platforms, such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL, and knowledge of NoSQL databases. Expertise in ETL processes, data warehousing, and data integration tools like Informatica, Talend, or SSIS. Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or Java for data manipulation and analytics. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex datasets. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
