POSITION SUMMARY: The Dance/Movement Therapist is responsible for the provision of Dance/Movement Therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning. The therapist employs the psychotherapeutic use of movement to promote the emotional, social, cognitive, and physical integration of individuals, for the purpose of improving health and well-being. The therapist educates patients in healthy coping skills, and available resources to continue the client in post-discharge planning and involvement. The therapist will be responsible for the provision of services according to the current standards of practice.

Qualifications Master's Degree in Dance/Movement Therapy required. Registered or Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist required (R-DMT, BC-DMT). Minimum 1 year experience in a psychiatric setting preferred. EEO Statement
