Responsibilities
• Provide general customer service functions to commercial customers hospitals• Work with customers to ensure streamlined communications on stocking levels, item usage, and product changes• Help to resolve manufacturer backorders and allocations• Analyze hospital backorder reports and determine solutions• Initiate required action for response to customer service requests for order changes• Resolve product or service problems, including missed shipment resolution and backorder fulfillment• Recommend potential substitutions by working with outside sales personnel, manufacturer sales representatives, and customer service• Participate in conference calls and make site visits as needed• Work effectively with internal departments, outside sales personnel, and customers• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standards and procedures regarding customer service• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Associates Degree or 2 years' experience in customer service, or equivalent combination of education and experience• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel and Word• Typing and data entry skills• High energy, positive attitude, and customer service oriented• Excellent communication skills and forward thinking• Detail oriented with analytical skills and the ability to multi-task• Related work experience and medical product knowledge beneficial• Reliability and ability to function independently• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
