Job Description:
Owens & Minor is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Care Specialist to join our team in New York City, New York. As a Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer inquiries and issues, and building strong relationships with our clients. This position is crucial to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation as a leader in the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries and issues- Respond to customer emails, calls, and chat messages in a timely and professional manner- Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate team members for resolution- Work closely with the sales team to address customer needs and improve overall satisfaction- Manage customer accounts and ensure accurate and timely order processing- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and enhance the customer experience- Proactively reach out to customers to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement- Provide product information and recommendations to customers as needed- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer service
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field- Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Excellent problem-solving abilities- Resourceful and dedicated to providing top-notch customer service- Proficient in analysis and strategic planning- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
