Responsibilities
• Keep all buildings and premises clean and neat at all times• Regulate heat, ventilation, and air conditioning systems• Perform grounds-keeping chores such as grass cutting and tree trimming• Unlock and secure doors• Shovel, plow, and maintain steps, walks, driveways, and parking areas• Perform minor building repairs• Report major repairs promptly• Keep floors clean and attractive• Move furniture as required• Keep grounds free from rubbish• Wash windows inside and outside• Clean restrooms, classrooms, offices, hallways, and other areas of the building• Conduct ongoing maintenance, upkeep, and repair• Keep inventory and requisition supplies, equipment, and fuel• Comply with local laws and procedures for trash disposal• Follow safety rules and procedures• Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English• Clean and neat appearance• At least one (1) year of experience• Meets health and physical requirements• Vocational education, apprentice training, on-the-job training, or essential experience
