Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Criminal Defense Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in criminal law and litigation, with a focus on providing comprehensive support to attorneys in all phases of criminal defense cases.

Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, for criminal defense cases.
Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to criminal matters.
Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and law enforcement agencies to gather information and evidence for cases.
Manage case files, including organizing documents, maintaining electronic records, and tracking deadlines.
Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation, exhibit preparation, and courtroom logistics.
Draft correspondence, subpoenas, and other legal documents as needed.
Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on criminal defense.
Proficiency in legal research tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work product.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual English and Spanish
