Court Operations Specialist (Administrative Support Specialist) in Salem, ORResponsible for scheduling parties for mediation, managing records of mediators' contact information, and providing administrative support to court staff and managementRequires 4 years of administrative experience and proficiency in Microsoft software and Workday HRIS

Responsibilities
• Schedule parties for mediation and send notices• Facilitate mediation orientation and assign mediators to specific cases• Process mediators' billed time and manage records of mediators' contact information• Support the post-conviction relief unit and several courtrooms• Manage the pro tem docket, scheduling volunteer judges, and checking for conflicts of interest• Communicate with pro se parties over the phone and in writing• Maintain files and records, screen calls and visitors, and respond to general inquiries• Process new hires, transfers, promotions, demotions, separations, and differentials through Workday HRIS• Provide administrative support and Workday guidance for personnel actions and records management• Assist in new employee orientation and coordinate court facility repairs, purchase orders, and parking assignments
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• 4 years of administrative experience in a moderately complex office or business setting• Proficiency in Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams) and Workday HRIS• Experience working with customers or clients in challenging or stressful situations• Ability to explain processes, procedures, or policies• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail• Ability to handle confidential information and materials
