**Job Summary:** We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing costs, preparing budget reports, and ensuring financial compliance. **Duties:** - Analyze costs of raw materials and other supplies to provide recommendations for cost-saving measures - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budget reports - Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data - Perform balance sheet reconciliation to identify discrepancies - Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions - Understand debits and credits to maintain accurate financial records - Oversee payroll processes and ensure timely payments - Apply technical accounting skills to interpret financial information - Familiarity with Sage software is a plus **Experience:** - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Proven experience in cost accounting or related field - Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software - Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles - Understanding of technical accounting standards - Ability to apply financial concepts effectively This position offers competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth.
