The University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for Coordinator, Corporate and Entrepreneurial Services at the Nevada Center for Applied Research (NCAR). The Coordinator will oversee the development and management of the University of Nevada, Reno's Entrepreneurial Laboroatory System within NCAR. The primary responsibility of the incumbent is to ensure that affiliate companies and entrepreneurs have access to competitive infrastructure and services that support their research, development, and commercialization endeavors.
In this role, the Coordinator will collaborate closely with companies, entrepreneurs, and faculty to initiate, enable, and nurture corporate relationships as well as coordinate research initiatives and grants. Working in conjunction with the NCAR Executive Director, the Coordinator will engage in outreach efforts to promote and solicit activities with new or existing companies through NCAR. This includes utilizing established fee-for-service and facility/equipment usage processes, seeking grant opportunities, and managing the iLab laboratory system, alongside other administrative duties as assigned. This position reports directly to the NCAR Executive Director.
Related Experience: Laboratory and/or research facility management. Multi-disciplinary research; science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education. iLab system experience or other lab management system or related.
