Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, supervise, coach, and develop hourly employees• Facilitate knowledge transfer among team members• Facilitate crew level safety action plans and safety meetings• Align employee roles and responsibilities with plant and organizational goals• Create an environment focused on hazard identification and risk reduction• Interface with other team members to address performance gaps• Provide performance feedback and develop annual feedback summaries• Work with the team to execute asset strategies• Ensure decision making and actions comply with collective bargaining agreement• Possibly supervise, mentor, and train employees
Requirements
• 1+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment• Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime• Possibly 5+ years of experience in the pulp and paper industry• Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PTM, TRAX, and KRONOS• Possibly experience with a Warehouse Management System
