In this hands-on role, you will be working directly with the Plant Management to identify and implement cost-reduction changes through Lean Techniques. From troubleshooting equipment, revamping processes, streamlining layouts, and monitoring the progress towards the companies goals. Continuous Improvement Lead Responsibilities: Drive cost savings through Lean Manufacturing processes such as Six Sigma methodology and Kaizen and various process improvement tactics. Analyze and evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify gaps in our production process and develop solutions to optimize our manufacturing process. Assess compliance and adherence to safety and quality standards, report/document, and propose solutions as appropriate. Create and manage process documentation and operating instructions through performing process simulations, risk assessment, and testing to eliminate time and cost constraints. Troubleshoot problems associated with manufacturing processes. Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5am- 3pm (with the opportunity to work Friday's and Saturday's based on customer needs)
Continuous Improvement Lead Requirements: Associate degree and/or 2 years of related hands-on experience. Experience working in a metal fabrication environment is strongly preferred and beneficial. Exposure to Six Sigma and Lean principles (certification preferred but not required) Skilled at utilizing CAD and AutoCAD software. Must have strong project management, mathematical aptitude, and analytical thinking skills. Pay: $70,000 - $90,000 annually
