We are a drug-free workplace.Responsibilities:Manage the overall quality and production of work to ensure compliance with Contract Documents.Oversee all planning, direction, coordination, and budgeting for project activities.Daily coordination and communication with the Project Manager is essential.Maintain regular communication with the Owner as required.Supervise subcontractor, contractor, owner, inspector, and AHJ field coordination on a daily basis.Conduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings to ensure smooth operations.Attend and actively participate in weekly Owner's meetings.Review and understand the subcontractor's subcontracted scope of work to prevent extra work or lost time.Be knowledgeable about the subcontractor's budget and cost structure.Familiarize yourself with the Baseline Project Schedule and provide monthly input on dates, durations, and coordination.Prepare detailed short-term look-ahead schedules on a weekly basis.Organize and conduct coordination meetings as needed to support the Project Schedule.Coordinate with Subcontractors and Owner for monthly progress billing.Responsible for overseeing quality control and safety programs.Supervise deliveries, staging, loading, and unloading activities.Manage the usage of equipment on-site, such as cranes or earth-moving equipment.Ensure project compliance with national and/or local building codes.Maintain accurate daily records of project activities.Implement safety and occupational health management, surveillance, inspections, and site safety orientation.Conduct safety meetings regularly to ensure a safe working environment.Attend pre-construction conferences and pre-work meetings, including three-phase inspection meetings.Develop and review preconstruction safety submittals.Review safety submittals for compliance with regulations.Enforce accepted Accident Prevention Plans to minimize risks.Review, develop, and enforce subcontractor activity-specific Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA).Monitor and enforce subcontractor safety and health compliance.Conduct continuous safety and health inspections and maintain detailed records.Investigate mishaps and complete necessary reports.Monitor and track safety and health deficiencies until resolved.Attach safety inspection logs to the Contractors' daily quality control report in RMS and Procore.Maintain the OSHA Form 300 and Daily Production reports for prime and sub-contractors.Keep safety reference material on the job site readily accessible.Maintain a list of hazardous chemicals on-site along with their material safety data sheets.Qualifications:Must have experience managing Federal Construction projects, specifically with USACE (United States Army Corps of Engineers) ProjectsA minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible safety work is requiredShould have at least 5 years of continuous construction industry safety experience managing general construction projects, overseeing safety programs, conducting hazard analyses, and developing controlsMust possess 5 years of experience working on similar projects with EM 385-1-1 experienceCompletion of EM 385 1-1 40hr training is mandatoryMust have OSHA 30hr certificationExperience with Procore is requiredFamiliarity with RMS is a plusProficiency in Word, Excel, and PDF is necessarySuccessful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and satisfactory references and background check are requiredAbout Company:HCG is a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH), a holding company of Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC), an Alaska Native Corporation.
