Job summary
Seeking qualified construction managers to perform construction oversight and inspection services on public and private projectsAreas of focus include representing the project owner, coordinating activities, monitoring budget and schedule status, etc.Candidates must have knowledge of construction means and methods, communication skills, and ability to read and interpret plans

Responsibilities
• Representing the project owner in daily oversight of construction activities• Coordinating the activities of owner, designer, construction contractor, public utility, and third party/abutter personnel• Monitoring and advising the owner on project budget and schedule status• Analyzing, estimating, and negotiating potential change orders and claims• Contract administration• Identifying and resolving construction problems and challenges in the field• Inspecting work performed by construction contractors to ensure conformance with contract plans and specification• Reporting daily progress• Tracking and documenting quantities of work performed• Other oversight and reporting responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
• Experience in managing, inspecting, testing, and coordinating construction projects• Proficiency in the use of computers including MS Word, Excel and construction reporting/quantity tracking software• Effective written and oral communication skills• Minimum of three years of experience in construction field with two years in a field construction management capacity• Professional certifications preferred• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a relevant field strongly preferred
